TEAM

Meet the Nurses and Support staff

The backbone to our clinic - our nurses and support staff work hard behind the scenes to ensure the day to day operations of Manuka Vet Hospital are running smooth.

Kerrilyn Ridgway

Receptionist

I have an Undergraduate Business Degree from QUT.  I have 3 adult children and I have only recently returned to the workforce in 2022 after many years as a stay-at-home Mum.

I have just moved to Canberra to live with my son who is an elite runner. Having lived my whole life in Queensland, I am looking forward to the exciting changes a new city and a new climate have to offer. My recent career was in the Medical world but I am loving the opportunity to work with animals at Manuka Veterinary Hospital.

Henrietta Frewin

Practice Manager – NVQ Level 2 and 3

Henrietta started veterinary nursing in the UK in 1998 and qualified in 2003. She worked as Head Nurse in a small animal clinic for 6 years before leaving the UK in October, 2010.

Henrietta worked in Melbourne and Sydney and enjoyed travelling around Australia before moving to Canberra in February, 2012, where she started working at Manuka Veterinary Hospital. She finds her work both challenging and rewarding, and takes great pride in making Manuka Veterinary Hospital the best environment possible.

Henrietta continues to enjoy travelling, and has a love for music and sport. Aside from veterinary nursing, she also enjoys pet-sitting and has many local pets that she regularly looks after.
